Back to School Night is August 11! This is the night for parents to hear about all of the wonderful things that will be happening in your child's classroom this year. Please be sure to sign up to attend a session with your child's teacher!

Breakfast will be available free of charge to all CP Lightfoot TK-5th grade students from 7:40-7:55 daily.

This week's friendship spotlight is on Avery and Elyssa, both Colony Cubs. To them, friendship means being kind and considerate of each other. Also, knowing that a friend is a special person that is always there for you and fun to be around.

Our amazing administrative secretaries are attending their first meeting of the new school year. We are fortunate in our district to have so many people that want to support our students.

Sophia from Lightfoot Elementary is this week's student spotlight. Sophia is always upbeat and eager to learn, whether she is in or out of the classroom. Here she is on a fieldtrip to Jensen Alvardo Ranch. I bet she had a blast.

This week's student spotlight shines on Dylan, an incredible Colony Cub. He comes to school every day with a smile on his face, ready to learn. He is a helpful, kind friend who never hesitates to help others.
