APEX Leadership and Fundraising company will be on our campus for 2 weeks. During this time they will be teaching about leadership and fitness as well as helping us raise money for CPL! Today kicked off with a APEX Pep Rally!

Student teams In Mrs. Boehm's class worked together to put a life saver around Fred and help him back into his boat. Students were not allowed to touch Fred, the boat, or the life preserver directly with their hands, only with paper clips. Students practiced teamwork while building on their STEM knowledge.

Students in Ms. Dia's class started this year with a STEM Team building activity - Cup stacking using only yarn and rubber bands without touching the cups with their hands!

The Data Confirmation Window is currently open. To obtain your child's teacher assignment, parents need to complete the Data Confirmation process and review the Family-Student Handbook. We are so excited for Shrey from DCIS as he competes tonight in the final round of the Scripps National Spelling Bee! The finals will be televised today on the ION channel, and we invite everyone to tune in and cheer for Shrey on this prestigious stage. 5th Grade Paper Airplane Contest Winners!!

This year Mrs. Boehm's class read NINE novels. One class favorite was the book "Wishtree" by Katherine Applegate. In the story, each year on May 1st, all the people from the town tie wishes written on fabric to the famous wish tree named Red. Our class celebrated by writing our wishes on fabric and tying them to our very own wish tree. Such a fun way to celebrate a great novel!

Mrs Abbruzzese’s class had an awesome idea to recycle old Earth Day borders into hats! They also made STEM Bird feeder projects using recycled materials! Great job!

Our TK, Kinder, First and Second Grade students celebrated our 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders getting ready to take the State Test today with a Pep Rally!

We have an exciting author event coming up that is fun-filled and supports our school libraries. On Friday, April 19, 2024 Bess Kalb will be present at our Buffalo Fluffalo Author Event at Barnes & Noble in Rancho Cucamonga from 5:30-7:30 PM. There will be fun activity stations, puzzles, and drawings. A percentage of in-store sales from this event will benefit our school libraries.
