Hello and welcome! My name is Bailee Rowland and I am so excited for the 2024-2025 school year. Our class website includes class information, announcements, weekly homework, and some helpful resources that can be used throughout the school year.
I am super excited to be joining the Lightfoot family this year! This is my fifth year teaching 5th grade. I previously taught at East Heritage Elementary. I love everything about 5th grade and teaching so I consider myself blessed to wake up everyday to come to a job that I love! I grew up locally and actually attended the Etiwanda School District myself. I went to D.W. Long and Summit Intermediate, so I have seen first-hand as a student, and now a teacher, how truly awesome the Etiwanda School District is. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies and my teaching credential at Cal State San Bernardino. I also have a Master's Degree in Teaching and Learning that I earned through Brandman University. I love reading, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. My husband and I have annual passes to Disneyland and enjoy going whenever we can. I have been married to my husband for three years and we have a one year old son named Greyson. We also have a miniature dachshund named Bentley. Fun Fact: Mr. Rowland is also a teacher in the Etiwanda School District!
