Mrs. Jarboe

(Previously Ms. Van Riel) Welcome to 4th grade! I am SO excited for the 2024-2025 school year. I was a student of the Etiwanda School District myself. I went to Windrows and EIS. I then went to RCHS and was on the dance team. After high school I went to Chaffey College and Cal Poly Pomona for my bachelor's and credential. I am currently in the master's degree program.

My goal for my classroom is to provide a welcoming, safe, and nourishing learning environment. Every student will always feel welcome in my classroom regardless of their beliefs. We accept everyone in this classroom! I believe in making teaching fun and engaging. From my experience, students learn much more when in a fun and engaging environment.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I bought a house last year so we spend most of our weekends on renovations. We also just got married in July 2024! I have a dog named Shadow who is basically my child. I enjoy going new places and country music, and line dancing. My best friend and I love listening to country music together. She also has 2 babies that I LOVE spending time with. My favorite thing to do on a day off is to get a Starbucks and go to the beach. I enjoy spending time with my older sister who lives in Irvine on the weekends as well. I also like to spend some of my free time planning fun activities for my students.

I am so excited for this year and looking forward to an amazing school year!
